1. Introduction

Welcome to Hoppura. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hoppura mobile application (the "App"), operated by Hoppura ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Definitions

  • "App" — The Hoppura mobile application
  • "User," "you," "your" — Any person who accesses or uses the App
  • "Content" — Posts, comments, replies, images, profile information, messages, and any other material submitted to the App
  • "User Content" — Content created or uploaded by Users
  • "Services" — All features and functionality provided by the App

3. Eligibility

By using Hoppura, you represent that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction to consent to data processing)
  • You are not prohibited from receiving our Services under applicable law
  • You have not been previously banned or removed from Hoppura

4. Account and Registration

4.1 Account Creation

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Hoppura. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. Hoppura does not store your Google password.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful profile information
  • Not create an account for anyone else without their permission
  • Not create multiple accounts for abusive or evasive purposes
  • Not transfer or sell your account to another person

4.3 Username

Usernames must be unique and not violate our content policies. We reserve the right to reclaim or change usernames that:

  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Violate trademark or intellectual property rights
  • Are offensive, misleading, or inappropriate

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Your Content

Your content belongs to you. By posting on Hoppura, you allow us to display and distribute it within the App so others can see it.

This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, unless it has already been shared with other users, we need to keep it for legal reasons, or for backups.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post Content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy
  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or involves nudity
  • Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups
  • Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property of any person
  • Contains spam, unsolicited promotions, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or misrepresents your affiliation
  • Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law

5.3 Marketplace Content

Posts in the Marketplace category may include items or services for sale. We are not a party to any transaction between users. Users are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of listings
  • Fulfillment of sales
  • Compliance with applicable laws (tax, consumer protection, etc.)
  • Resolution of disputes between buyers and sellers

Hoppura does not handle payments, offer buyer/seller protection, or guarantee any transactions.

6. Prohibited Activities

In addition to the content standards in Section 5, you agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Collect or harvest usernames, email addresses, or other user data
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access or interact with the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or functionality
  • Attempt to bypass security measures, authentication, or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Frame or mirror any part of the App without our written consent
  • Use the App to stalk, harass, intimidate, or harm any person
  • Upload or transmit viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code

7. Reporting and Enforcement

7.1 Reporting

Users can report Content or other users that violate these Terms. Reporting options include:

  • Harassment, spam, inappropriate content, hate speech, violence, impersonation, self-harm, or other violations
  • Reports are submitted through the in-app reporting feature and reviewed by our team

7.2 Blocking

Users can block other users to prevent them from interacting with your Content. Blocked users will not see your Content and cannot interact with you.

7.3 Enforcement Actions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Remove or refuse to post any User Content
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Restrict access to certain features
  • Take legal action as appropriate

We may take these actions without prior notice for serious violations.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, layout, graphics, logos, branding, and all non-User Content, is owned by Hoppura and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The "Hoppura" name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

8.2 Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

If you believe that Content on Hoppura infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • A description of where the infringing material is located on the App
  • Your contact information (address, phone, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

9. Points

Hoppura features a points system earned through app activity (posting content). Points can be used to purchase cosmetic avatar frames in the in-app Shop.

  • Points have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Points are non-transferable between accounts
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the points system
  • We reserve the right to adjust points balances or revoke points obtained through fraudulent or abusive means

10. Refund Policy

All purchases made through Hoppura are final and non-refundable. This includes:

  • Profile cosmetics such as avatar frames
  • In-app purchases such as points ("Carrots")

No exchanges, credits, or refunds will be issued for any reason, including dissatisfaction, account termination, or discontinuation of features.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The App integrates with third-party services including:

  • Google Sign-In (authentication)
  • Supabase (database, storage, authentication)
  • Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, push notifications)
  • Google Calendar / Apple Calendar (event export)

We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content
  • That defects will be corrected

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hoppura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Errors or inaccurate Content posted by users
  • Conduct or Content of any third party
  • Service interruptions, delays, or technical issues

Our total liability is limited to actual damages you can prove were directly caused by our gross negligence. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Termination

14.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account, contact us at support@hoppura.com. Deleting your account will remove your profile and associated Content from the App.

14.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in behavior that we believe is harmful to other users, third parties, or Hoppura
  • We discontinue the App or your access

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (see our Privacy Policy).
